S07E23: Life Goes On (1)When the clinic closes due to an asbestos problem, Laverne persuades Maxine to go to Hickory with her to help plan her wedding, which Laverne's mother is going overboard with. Meanwhile, Carol announces her engagement to Kevin, Harry decides to sell the house and move to Vermont where he's been offered a teaching job, and Charley and Sophia get lost on the road to Hickory. The wedding plans cease when Laverne elopes, and Carol breaks up with Kevin after hearing of Harry's move.
